About Joshua Newtonn

Known for such popular screenplays as Offseason and Ritu, this acclaimed Indian writer also published articles, short stories, and a nonfiction work titled The Book of People: Ten Life Reports From India.


Before becoming a creative writer, he worked as a journalist and editor for over a decade and was employed by such publications as New Indian Express and Men s Health.


He was the first Indian recipient of both the Evangelical Press Association Award and the Luis Valtuena VII International Humanitarian Photography Award. One of his short stories, “Taj Mahal,” appeared in the anthology Why Don t We Talk?
