About Julius Adams

Defensive lineman who played for the New England Patriots from 1971 to 1987, and made the Pro Bowl in 1980.

Early Life of Julius Adams

He was a four-year starter while playing at Texas Southern University, where he made the all-conference team in 1968 and 1970.

He was selected 27th overall in the 1971 NFL Draft, and rewarded the Patriots by playing 206 games over his career.

He raised three sons with his wife Pat Adams, including Keith Adams, also an NFL player.
