About Kadim Al Sahir
Known for such Arabic pop and classical songs as, respectively, “Obart Al Shat” and “La Ya Sadiki,” this acclaimed vocalist and songwriter became one of the most respected musicians of his generation and in the history of Middle Eastern music.
Early Life of Kadim Al Sahir
He wrote his first song when he was just ten years old and went on to attend the Baghdad Academy of Music in his early twenties.
He performed his song “Tathakkar” before both the United States Congress and the United Nations and earned a UNICEF award.
