About Kareem Burke

Entrepreneur and one of the original co-founders of Roc-A-Fella Records with former partners are Jay-Z and Damon Dash. He also helped launch the Rocawear clothing line, which was later purchased by Iconix for over $200 million dollars. 


He got his start as a young teen throwing parties in Harlem at iconic places like the Cotton Club and charging steep covers for entry.  It was there he earned his nickname “Biggs” after getting a reputation for acting older than he was or too big for his age.


After spending time in prison for intent to distribute marijuana, he collaborated with Nike to launch the Roc-A-Fella Air Force 1 shoe for the sneaker s 35th anniversary, started several clothing lines and even explored a caffeinated chocolate snack called BEON.
