About Kim Willoughby

Indoor volleyball athlete who led the United States women s volleyball team to a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She was previously a dominant player at the University of Hawaii, being named as the NCAA National Player of the Year in 2003.


She won three consecutive Louisiana state volleyball titles at Assumption High School and was named Louisiana Player of the Year in both her junior and senior seasons.


She received the award for Best Receiver while playing for Colussi Sirio Perugia in the CEV Indesit Champions League during the 2008-09 season.
