Best known for her roles on the television series Ally McBeal (as Renee Raddick) and ER (as Carla Reece), she also appeared in such 1990s films as Devil in a Blue Dress and Jason s Lyric.


After performing in several Negro Ensemble Company (New York) stage productions, she made her television debut in a 1991 episode of Law & Order.


She reprised her Ally McBeal prosecutor character in a 2012 episode of the NBC series Harry s Law.
