About Lorenzo Romar

College basketball coach rose to become head coach of the University of Washington in 2002 after previously coaching at Pepperdine and Saint Louis.

Early Life of Lorenzo Romar

He played point guard in the NBA from 1980 to 1985 for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons.

He was named Pac-10/12 Coach of the Year with Washington in 2005, 2009 and 2012.
