About Lynne Adams

Known for her acclaimed one-woman show Two Faced, as well as for her play Over Mother s Dead Body, Adams is also famous for her role (in the 1960s and 70s) as Nurse Leslie Jackson Bauer Norris Bauer on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light.


Early in her career, she played the role of Amy Kincaid on the soap opera The Secret Storm.


She is a descendant of United States Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams.

She is the older sister of actress Brooke Adams and the sister-in-law of actor Tony Shalhoub. Her parents, Rosalind Gould Adams and Robert K. Adams, also worked in the entertainment industry.
