About Marcela Benjumea

Colombian stage, film and TV actress who is known for her roles in projects like La Cara Oculta, Sin Mover los Labios and Amelia La Secretaria. She had her screen debut in 1995, playing Mafe in the show Tiempos Difíciles. 


She studied at the Actors Training School of the Free Theater.


She has won two TVyNovelas Awards – Best Revelation Actress in 1997 and Best Supporting Actress in 2011 – and two India Catalina Awards; Best Leading Soap Actress in 2011, and Best Telenovela Actress in 2017.
