About Markus Paul

Football coach who served as a strength and conditioning coach for a number of NFL teams, including the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. His November 2020 death was met with an outpouring of support from current and former NFL players, including Michael Strahan.


He played college football as a defensive back for Syracuse University from 1984 to 1988. He was a first-team All-American in 1988.


He won five Super Bowls as a strength and conditioning coach with the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers between 1989 and 1993.
