About Matt Hamill
Known as The Hammer, he was a light heavyweight spanision mixed martial artist who had a successful wrestling career as well. He won silver in Greco-Roman Wrestling and a gold at the 2001 Summer Deaflympics.
He made his MMA debut in 2005 in a fight against Robert Hitte that he won by TKO. He went on to win his first 4 fights before losing to Michael Bisping. He previously was a 3-time Division III National Champion in wrestling.
He has twice been involved what was deemed the fight of the night from UFC and once won knockout of the night.
