About Matthew Yarbrough

Known best as the prosecutor in several high-profile immigration, human smuggling, and computer hacking cases, this Assistant United States Attorney for Texas North District founded the Dallas-based Yarbrough Law Group. He also served as director of the United States Department of Justice s Cybercrimes and Criminal Intellectual Property Task Force.


After graduating from Texas Christian University, he earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University.


A designated “Texas Super Lawyer,” he also received major prosecution awards from both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United States Department of Justice.

The son of fellow Texas attorney Fletcher Yarbrough, he grew up in Dallas. He and his wife Jennifer later became parents to three children.
