About Melanie Chandra

Television actress who earned her first big break in 2015 playing Fareeda in The Brink. She then went on to portray Malaya Pineda in Code Black and was cast as Roli in the 2017 series Brown Nation.


After earning a degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, she began working at a consulting firm. However, it wasn t long before she left the firm to pursue her career in modeling and acting.


She co-founded Hospital for Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing healthcare services to rural India.
