About Mike Tice

Football coach who has served as the offensive line coach for teams like the Atlanta Falcons and was the head coach for the Minnesota Vikings from 2002 to 2005. He previously played tight end in the NFL from 1981 to 1995 for teams like the Seattle Seahawks.


He played quarterback at the University of Maryland.


Under his watch, the Vikings broke a single-season team record with 6,339 total yards in 2004.

His older brother, John Tice, played ten NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints. His son, Nate, played quarterback at the University of Wisconsin.
