About Miya Ando

Conceptual artist who was selected for the international monthly magazine Artforum s Critics Pic award in 2015. She is known for creating large three-dimensional structures that reflect American minimalism and Zen Reductivism.


Early in her career she apprenticed at the Hattori Studio in Japan.


One of her pieces was added to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art s permanent collection in 2016.
