About Naja Rickette

Also known as “The Queen of Nails” or “The Naja,” she is a couture nail artist and stylist who is known for being the pioneer of Minx nails. She opened the Naja Nail Guru Nail Academy and became a television personality on the reality series L.A. Hair. She has also been the owner of LA-based salon Nail Spa Extremedies Hand & Foot Spa, which has had visits from Missy Elliott, Tamar Braxton and Lady Gaga.


She was a professionally trained chef before becoming a nail artist. She began doing nail styling in 2003. Her first job was in the spa business was as a front desk coordinator at a luxury spa.


She is a former co-owner and host of Nail Talk Radio. She s also a published writer and has been featured in Beauty Cents and Sheen Magazine.
