About Nat Faxon

Actor, director and screenwriter known for having acted on series like Married and directing the acclaimed 2013 film The Way Way Back. In 2012, he won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for co-writing the Alexander Payne-directed film The Descendants.


He grew up in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts and graduated from Holderness School as well as Hamilton College. He began performing with the renowned improv comedy troupe The Groundlings in 2001.


He is an occasional voice actor, having voiced characters on shows like American Dad!, The Cleveland Show Star Wars: Detours and Disenchantment.
