About Nesrin Cavadzade

Actress and director who is known for appearing both in feature films and in television series . She is best recognized for having played Asya in the 2011 film Yangin Var, the role of Dilber in Dilber s Eight Days, and Medine in the 2014 film Kuzu. 


She graduated from Marmara University Film School in Istanbul. While attending university, she directed five short films. She then transitioned into in-front of the camera acting work in 2004 when she made her debut in the film Walk on Water. In 2007 she landed her first recurring role on television as Suna in Yersiz Yurtsuz. 


She has won several awards for her acting work at the Ankara International Film Festival including Best Actress in 2009 for her role in Dilber in Sekiz Gunu and again in 2012 for her role in Yangin Var.

While she was born in Baku, she moved to Istanbul with her family at the age of 11 where she was raised.
