About Nitin Bose

Director who made the first use of playback singing in Indian cinema. He was best known for films like Ganga Jamuna and Dhoop Chhaon.


His first film was a 1921 documentary about the Belgian Emperor s visit to India.


He won the Certificate of Merit for Second Best Feature Film for Pyaar Ki Pyaas in 1961.
