About Nour El Sherbini

Nicknamed The Warrior Princess, she is an Egyptian squash player rose to become the then-youngest world champion at age 13 with her victory at the 2009 U-19 World Junior Squash Championships. She became a senior world squash champion in 2015 and 2016 at the Women s World Championships. 


She began playing squash at age 6. She won two straight British Junior Open Squash championships in 2007 and 2008. 


She became the first Egyptian to win the British Open in squash in 2016. She was named the PSA Player of The Year in 2017 and 2018.

She was inspired to pursue an athletic career by her parents, who were also athletes.
