About Paul Danan

English actor and TV personality who rose to widespread prominence for his portrayal of Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. He appeared between 1997 and 2001, and has gone on to appear as a regular panelist on the reality series Celebrity Big Brother s Bit on the Side.


He made his TV debut in 1995 as agent Max Mitford on the BBC series The Queen s Nose. 


In 2005, he appeared as a contestant on the first ITV reality series Celebrity Love Island. In 2008, he was named the funniest TV personality by the magazine Loaded.
