English journalist best recognized for his work as Chief Sports Writer for The Daily Telegraph. He is also known for having published content in The Guardian, The Independent, and the Daily Mail. 


He first started his career as a sports journalist for Racing Post. He started gaining further attention in 1997 when he won the Best Football Writer at the Sky Sports Awards in 1997. 


He is also known for having been named Sportswriter of the Year at the SJA British Sports Journalism awards in 1996, 2012, and 2015.
