About Marnie Laird
Classically trained pianist who has enjoyed a career as a collaborative pianist, chamber musician, soloist and orchestral player. She is best known for her collaborations with her husband Patrick Laird, a cellist, as a group called Brooklyn Duo. Together, they compose covers of top pop artists songs as seen on their popular YouTube channel.

She completed a 3-year fellowship in the role of principal pianist for New World Symphony in Miami. She received a Master s degree in collaborative piano from The Juilliard School and a Master s in solo piano from The University of British Columbia.
She met her husband Patrick while attending the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival in Maine. They married in 2012.
