Famous as a bassist, keyboard player, and backup singer for the British indie band The Wombats, he contributed to such UK hit albums as A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation; The Modern Glitch; and Glitterbug.

He and his bandmates launched The Wombats while studying at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Their early radio hits include “Moving to New York” and “Let s Dance to Joy Division.”
