About Rahul Khanna

Best known for his career in the American TV industry. He is particularly known for his role as the double agent Yousaf Rana on the FX drama series The Americans. He first appeared on the show in 2014.


He studied at both the Lee Strasberg Institute and School of Visual Arts in New York City. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a video jockey with MTV Asia in 1994.


In 1999, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role in the Indian film Earth. In 2013, he appeared on the Indian TV series 24, which was based off of the American show of the same name.

He was born in Mumbai, India. He was also raised there by his father Vinod Khanna and mother Gitanjali Taleyarkhan. His younger brother is the Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna.
