German writer and journalist who is best recognized for his work for The Blizzard and The Athletic. He is known for his British football coverage and has also been featured as a British correspondent for The Guardian. 


He started his his career studying law before writing for the German youth magazine Jezt. He started gaining international attention after publishing his first book on football in 2006. 


He is also known for his television appearances and has provided commentary on BBC and ESPN s Soccernet Press Pass.
