New York-born Roman Catholic Priest, professor, and Biblical scholar of the Twentieth Century. He wrote over 25 books on biblical matters, including Responses to 101 Questions on the Bible, Death of the Messiah, and Birth of the Messiah.


He attended the Catholic University of America and St. Mary s Seminary and University before earning his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University and becoming a priest in St. Augustine, Florida.


He was the first Catholic faculty member to secure tenure at New York s Union Theological Seminary, a Protestant institution.
