About Rein Taagepera
Estonian politician and political scientist who was a member of the Estonian Constitutional Assembly in 1991. He has done important scholarly work on electoral systems.
He was President of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies from 1986 to 1988.
He published his first major work, Seats and Votes: The Effects and Determinants of Electoral Systems, in 1989.
