About Rex Hudler
MLB announcer who took over as the color commentator for the Kansas City Royals in 2012. He d previously served in the same position for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1999 to 2009.
A talented athlete, he was selected by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 1978 MLB draft. He played as a utility infielder and outfielder for six major league teams from 1984 to 1998.
He was inducted into the Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. He was a featured announcer in several baseball video games in the 2000s, including MLB: The Show and ESPN Major League Baseball.
