Movie critic and newspaper columnist known for co-hosting the television program At the Movies. He also penned a popular New York Observer column called “On the Town with Rex Reed.”
Early in his career, he worked as a cinema and arts critic for the New York Post and the New York Daily News.
An occasional actor, he appeared on The Gong Show and in the film version of Myra Breckinridge.
