About Robert Benedetti

American actor and producer rose to become known for his appearances in Elvira: Mistress of the Dark and the popular comedy, My Stepmother is an Alien.


He received a PhD. from Northwestern University and worked as the Artistic Director of the Court Theatre in Chicago, where he also directed films.


As a producer, he won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Made for Television Movie, the first for the 1997 film, Miss Evers Boys and the second for the 1999 film, A Lesson Before Dying.
