About Rod Davis

Retired competitive sailor who won Olympic medals at the 1984 and 1992 Olympic Games. He has the unusual distinction of having won Olympic medals for two different countries, New Zealand and the United States.


He began sailing a boat named Sunfish in Florida. His family later moved to Coronado.


Following his retirement from sailing, he became the Olympic Director for Yachting New Zealand.
