About Ronnie Landfield

Lyrical Abstraction painter whose best-known works included “Rite of Spring” from 1985, “Garden of Delight” from 1971, and “The Deluge” from 1999.


He briefly studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and at the University of California, Berkeley. He explored the possibilities of minimal art, sculpture, hard-edge geometric painting, found objects, and border painting from 1964 until 1966.


His work was exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art and at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
