About Salvatore Martone
Pastry chef who won the 3rd Annual StarChefs.com International Pastry Competition in fall 2012. He has more than 190,000 followers on his chefsmartone Instagram account.
He started off as a pizza maker. He studied at the Hotelery School in Naples, Italy, and later attended Instituto Superiore Arti Culinarie in Venice.
His first job as a pastry chef was at Epicure Company in Sarasota, Florida. He quickly moved and became a pastry sous chef at the L Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
