Singer and songwriter most famous as a member of the band LaBelle and as a session musician for artists like The Rolling Stones. As a solo artist, she has gained notoriety for singles like the Top 10-charting disco track “Sinner Man.”


She originally joined The Ordettes, who later came to be known as Labelle, in 1959.
