About Scottie Barnes

Power forward who was a consensus five-star recruit of the high school class of 2020. In October 2019 he committed to play basketball for the Florida State University Seminoles. 


He played high school basketball for Cardinal Newman High School, NSU University School, and Montverde Academy. He was ranked the 4th best player in the class of 2020 by ESPN.


He was named a high school All-American by Sports Illustrated and MaxPreps in 2020. He led the US U-19 squad to a gold medal at the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in 2019, giving him his third gold medal with the US.
