About Selim Sahab
Composer and prominent conductor who rose to prominence in the 1980s as the founder of the National Arab Music Ensemble. He was a popular performer in Paris, London, Damascus, Amman, and Tunis.
He received a Bachelor s degree in Choral Conducting in 1971 from the Institute of Jnesen. He also studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
He acted as the conductor of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 1976. He was the musical supervisor of the official Lebanese radio station.
