About Shamna Kasim

Indian film actress and model who is known for her roles in films such as Avunu, Seema Tapakai and Chattakkari. Her debut was in the 2004 movie Manju Poloru Penkutty, but she first gained critical acclaim playing the lead role of Sri Mahalakshmi in 2007. 


She completed a bachelor of arts in English via correspondence. 


She initially sought out to be a classical dancer, but moved into acting after participating in the Amrita TV reality dance competition Super Dancer.
