About Silvana Gallardo

Perhaps most famous for her recurring role as Alicia Nunouz on the CBS soap opera Falcon Crest, she is also known for her appearances in episodes of NYPD Blue, L.A. Law, Cagney and Lacey, and The Golden Girls.


Early in her career, she appeared in 1960s and 70s episodes of Days of Our Lives, Starsky and Hutch, and Kojak.


She created an acting training system known as the “Gallardo Method.”

Born to a family of Native American, Cuban, and Venezuelan heritage, she grew up in New York City s Bronx borough. Her marriage to television and film actor Billy Drago lasted from 1980 until her death in 2012.
