Pilot of 1992 and 1993 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery missions. He went on to command the Space Shuttle Endeavour during the shuttle s 1995 STS-67 mission.


He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1973.


He worked at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
