About Adrienne Adams
American children s book illustrator who won two Caldecott medals for Houses from the Sun and The Day We Saw the Sun Come Up.
She attended the University of Missouri and The American School of Design.
She also illustrated two well-known fairy tales: Thumbelina and The Shoemaker and the Elves.
