About Asamoah Gyan

Striker who joined Al Alin in 2012 after spending two years with Sunderland; became a member of the Ghanian national team in 2003. He was traded to Shanghai SIPG in 2015 and loaned to Al Ahli Dubai the following year. 


He played with the Italian clun Udinese from 2003 to 2008 and was almost signed by the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow.


His three goals helped Ghana advance to the quarter-finals against Uruguay at the 2010 World Cup, but a critical penalty kick miss sealed their loss.
