About Kyung Lah

South Korean-born broadcast journalist known for her work on CNN Newsource. Earlier in her career, she worked as a reporter for television news stations in Los Angeles and San Diego, California and Kalamazoo, Michigan.


She studied broadcast journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned her undergraduate degree in 1993.


She worked as a CNN correspondent in both Japan and Los Angeles.

She was born in South Korea and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. She and her husband Curtis Vogel welcomed their first child in 2011.
