About Stephen Sauvestre
Late nineteenth and early twentieth-century architect best known for his work on the famous Eiffel Tower. His design contributions to the tower included ground-level arches and glass encasing.
Early Life Experience of Stephen Sauvestre
In 1868, he graduated with honors from the École Spéciale d’Architecture.
His Eiffel Tower project premiered at the 1889 Paris Universal Exposition.
