About Lauren Sesselmann

Canadian-American defender who’s represented Canada internationally, winning a gold medal at the 2011 Pan American Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics. She’s played professionally for the Houston Dash and FC Kansas City.

Early Life of Lauren Sesselmann

She won a Wisconsin state championship as a high school basketball player, but attended Purdue University to play college soccer. She set half a dozen school records during her time as a Boilermaker.


She created a DVD workout series called Fit As A Pro. She acted in the 2014 movie Dark Awakening, where she assumed the role of Faith.

She was born to Ernie and Debbie Sesselmann and grew up with two brothers. She qualifies for the Canadian national team through her dad.
