About Teresa Elliott

American oil painter who is known for her realism style focusing mainly on natural landscapes, rural scenes, and animal life mainly based out of Alpine, Texas. She shares a range of her finished works through Instagram for her over 60,000 followers. 


She earned her Fine Art BFA from the University of Kansas. She then moved to Dallas where she began working as an artist for Colt, Winchester firearms. She then began working as a graphic designer and illustrator. She launched her fine art career in 2006 when she had a sold out gallery show in Ft. Worth, Texas. 


She has earned several honors and awards for her painting including the Bold Brush Award in January of 2016 and the ACOPAL s Grand Prize from the America China Oil Painting Artists League Competition in 2011.

Her family first settled in Texas in the 1800s and she eventually moved back to Big Bend National Park in Alpine, Texas where she lives and works.
