About Wamiqa Gabbi

Indian actress known for her appearances in Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu language films. She is best recognized for having played Tanisha in the 2013 film Sixteen and Sitha in the film Bhale Manchi Roju. 


She started her career as an actress in 2011 when she played Lala Durgadas s Daughter in the 2011 film Mausam. She gained further attention in 2014 when she picked up a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards. 


She is known for having won the Flowers Indian Film Award in 2018 for Best Female Debutante for her role in the film Godha where she played Adithi Singh.
