Sprinter who won a silver medal in the 100M hurdles at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Early Life of Shirley Strong

She began her national career in 1977, and finished second in the 100M hurdles at the UK Athletics Championship and AAA Championship.

She won a gold medal in the 100M hurdles at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane.
