About Julius Babao

Known best as the main presenter of the ABS-CBN news program TV Patrol, this Filipino television personality won several PMPC Star Awards and COMGUILD Journalism Awards for his hosting work.


After graduating from the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a degree in communications, he began his career as a reporter for a Filipino radio program called NewsWatch.


Beginning in 2011, he hosted a radio show titled Aksyon Ngayon.

He met his future wife, Christine Bersola, while the two were co-hosting a television program called Alas Singko Y Media. He and Bersola later became parents to a son named Antonio.
