About Cristian Terrazas

Percussionist and member of the Grupo Montez de Durango, a Chicago-based Durango band. He plays the tambora, a two-sided drum of Dominican origin.

He joined the band in 2015 at the age of 18. 

Knowledge Base

Two more of his brothers joined the band in 2015 with him — Bobby, who s played keyboards and Abel, who s played the tuba.  

His father Jose Luis Terrazas Sr. founded the band in 1996 and his brother Jose Luis Jr. is also a member. 

Diana Reyes and Saul Alarcon are also duranguense performers.
